TENSION CONTROL SYSTEMS

Controlling tension control is the primary control system on any web fed machine. Whether the product is paper, plastic film, foil, fabric, rubber sheet or laminated film - all must be fed into a machine under tension, and wound up again under tension. Constant tension is vital for web guiding, register control, coating weight control - virtually all process controls used on web fed machines.
